Just what we needed….

From the very first conversation with Ian, we knew this place understood hospitality and it only got better. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, clean and had real character. The hotel itself was well maintained and organised and had all the services you need. Staff were lovely, genuinely interested and informative. We had such a beautiful time in Mudgee and when we visit again we will definitely come back to Cobb and Co. Thankyou for going to the next step in hospitality.

Fantastic place for a special getaway…

We have stayed at the Cobb & Co before and loved it so went back for our Wedding anniversary. Checked in with Ian (owner) and he upgraded us (due to a change to the room we had booked) to an absolutely beautiful suite, 2 large rooms, double shower and spa. Everything was clean fresh and well presented. All the staff we ran into could not have been nicer. We dined at the Wine Glass inhouse restaurant which was fabulous. The Cobb & Co is right in town so is in easy walking distance to everything. I would happily recommend it to everyone, a perfect way to spend a special night

Perfect ending to the year…

We came in on the last day of the year, and hadn’t booked anything. Luckily for us they had a room available. The staff was awesome and we got to check in really fast, which was great since we had a long drive from Sydney. The room was amazing and we got it for a good price. Ended up having our last meal of 2017 there also, and it was fantastic: great food and really good local wine! Will definitely recommend it to everyone I know. Was a great ending to 2017

A splendid 2 night stay…

The Hotel is originally a Cobb & Co staging post. The new owner (12 months) Ian and his staff are a credit to tourism in Mudgee. Our concern at first was being on the upper level, as I suffer from various back and knee ailments, however, the amenity of the room made it all worthwhile. We were treated to the 1- bedroom apartment, as an upgrade, at no extra cost when Sarah, the hotel consierge, felt we would be happier there, and it was available during out stay. She helped us with our luggage up the stairs and made sure we were comfortable. The restaurant food was very much to our taste and the staff were very helpful. In fact we were almost treated like family. We would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel for its staff, its location, its quietness and its cleanliness.

Great service and a lovely place to stay…

I've stayed in this hotel a couple of times since it changed ownership earlier this year. The service is great, as is the food in the attached Wineglass restaurant. The building exterior is average, but the interior of the rooms is a lovely surprise - they have a beautiful old world charm, along with the modern conveniences including very comfortable bedding. Some of the rooms have a huge spa bath which is a big bonus in my opinion! And there is also one "room" you can book which is like a little apartment (own kitchen, lounge and separate bedroom). The owner is so lovely and welcoming and even insists on personally carrying your luggage to your room after he checks you in.

The hotel is in a convenient central location. If you have time to spend in Mudgee, this is a great place to relax and enjoy your time and a meal after a day of sightseeing or work.

Highly recommended

Surprise Jewel in Crown….

We were surprised to find this Jewel in Mudgee. The decor was spot on, the room immaculately clean and Ian and his team's attention to detail was second to none. A fabulous get a way not to be overlooked.
